How it All Started...

Kevin Karch, the President of K & K Systems and Susan Karch, the Senior Vice President, met on the job at Grumman Data Systems, July 1, 1974.

In 1980, while working at Grumman, Kevin and Sue joined several very prestigious and knowledgeable Chiropractors and Physicians and worked in their spare time, developing “Practice made Perfect”  billing software. In 1983, after 3 years of working days at their regular jobs and nights at home on the billing software, they finally launched their program.

In 1984, Sue left her consulting job at Chase, and stayed home to give birth to their son, Keith, and in her free time managed to run the software business. Kevin would come home after his Manhattan job, and work at night programming the "Practice made Perfect" Software. After 3 years, the business was starting to boom, with providers nationwide purchasing this software. They decided to take that leap of faith, and Kevin quit his job. For the next 5 years, they worked day and night at running the business, programming the never-ending changes in the medical field.

Today, 37 years later, Sue and Kevin own and run a very successful company, selling the best Medical Billing Software on the market and running one of the most efficient billing and collections services around.
